Computer Applications
Computer Applications introduces essential skills of communicating design through the aid of computer software. By utilising architectural software as tools to produce 3D building modelling, architectural renderings and visualisation in order to support the production of drawings and documents needed in the design process.
01. Building Modelling & Documentation
The first project for this module includes producing a Revit model of a selected architectural design using architectural components, following with documentation of the production progress, and generating architectural drawings.
02. Architectural Visualisation
The second project for Computer Applications involves producing photorealistic renders of the design produced in Project 1 using 3DS Max, by incorporating the appropriate materials, camera views and post-production enhancements to achieve the desired visual outcome.
